This information has long been old news to me, but I thought I'd throw it out for general consumption.

There is an organization called the House Progressive Caucus. It has a web site off of Bernie Sander's home page. There are 57 members--about 13 percent of the total House membership, listed here. See anyone you know? Maybe even someone you voted for?

See any Republicans on the list?

Their Statement of Purpose on this particular site is short, and somewhat vague.

Here we see a lot more details, as a few clicks on the links on this site can show. Please take special note of the Progressive Promise, and the sponsored legislation, with bills on subjects close to the hearts of many liberals.

Do you see anything here that supports a position involving less government power? Did you notice the home page of this site?

Note also the link to an organization called Progressive Challenge. Study this page closely too. Oh, the Progressive Challenge has its own little site, showing it to be a subsidiary of the Institute for Policy Studies.

I'm sorry, but there is an organized, well-funded and politically powerful organization in this nation with the express purpose of converting it into a totalitarian socialist state. They don't even bother to hide it, because they have so totally brainwashed the public into thinking that there are not only no Communists under the bed now, but that there never were.

You might note that I have included only information from these organizations' own sites, although there are analyses of outfits like the IPS from conservative sites that are a lot more damning.

It is likely that the vast majority of people working in these member organizations either don't know the full agenda, are too dim to figure it out, or are mentally suppressing it, but it's damn certain the leadership knows, and you can bet every last member of the House Progressive Caucus knows.
