Nothing surprising
Pathetic twits in the core org are pretty much eviserated by the new reality. They are going nowhere with this agenda.
Some conservatives have been indirectly linked to ultra-right orgs (Ashcroft for one). The liberals do a better job of pointing this out than we do. Many of the more moderate Dems may be unaware of this embarassment.
Anyway their dog don't hunt in this country, especially now.
