Re: A successor?
Remember back in september 1993, the Oslo Agreements.
Arafat said he aknowledged the existance of Israel.
Arafat, Peres and Rabin got the nobel peace prize.
Now, who can succeed him? Who, among Palestinians, can give them back some dignity and at the same time be acceptable to Israel?
One thing: I don't consider Arafat's claims to sovereignity of their Al Aksa mosque in Jerusalem as an extremist demand. It's their right as muslims.
