I agree: power must be balanced by accountability
We are at war against a network of people who are able to work under cover for years.
What is 'clear" today could be tragic tomorrow.
erring on the side of caution during a time of war is no abuse.
The personal costs of it are simply that: costs to be paid.
That some of these costs will fall unfairly is the way life goes.
WWII had many such tragedies, as did the Civil War, and all other wars.
The point is this: We must prevail against an enemy who is already active on our home territory.
