<..."You wanna know something" drawing near to my ear, "Bush and Bin laden have the same banker."
And even though I was stunned by his grasp of current events (another
fireman would later advise me that the whole situation was one of
"rich people fighting over oil with all of us caught in the middle") what I came to recognize slowly was that the message of these men and women who were rubbing shoulders with the dead 24/7 was quite at odds with the then prevailing ethic, and that was that it made no human sense to inflict what was in front of us on anyone else.
Yeah, that's what we heard from the firemen, Dennis. The firemen said let's not inflict this on the people who did it, along with that bit about the banks. Do you buy that? Read the whole article, and compare it with all the rest of the attitudes and opinions that you have seen and heard from Ground Zero and the men who work there. Does this article sound right to you? Does this fit?
Can anyone with common sense believe this leftist crap, grafted onto New York firemen and policemen? Does that "cherry picker emblazoned with an american flag fitted with the image of a native american with peace pipe" ring true to you?
For the record, Frank Morales is a writer for the Covert Action Quarterly, a left-wing rag and arm of the Institute for Media Analysis that also includes on its writing staff the usual gang of idiots including cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.
I would bet five bucks he made up the quotes he got from this "fireman whose name I never got." And if so, Morales ought to be deeply ashamed.
I would almost be willing to bet another five bucks that Morales has never been within two miles of Ground Zero, and pulled the whole article out of his ass, but that's probably just my gut instinct and natural cynicism talking. How about a link to the original article, Dennis?
Oh, just for fun, here's an article by Morales and his friends showing how the FBI blew up the WTC back in 1993.
