Dang, we're good!
After the bombing of Kandahar, there were apparently few civilian casualties.
Even the residents got cocky, realizing that the bad guys were the target, not them.
Ali Ahmed, a 16-year-old thrill-seeker proficient in English, said that for kicks he would go to every bomb site in the city minutes after the blasts occurred. "They rarely killed normal people," Ali said. "I went to many sites. I never saw a dead normal person. I know they killed some. But really I went to all the sites."
Ali said that before the war, he used to like war movies. "Now I like love stories," he said. "Like the 'Titanic.' Have you seen it? It is my very favorite thing."
Ewwwww....from war to puberty. Poor kid.
