At 16 he's had to endure wars, poverty, and 5 years of Taliban rule. I'd wager he's far more mature than 99.99% of the American kids his age. Let's cut him some slack. After all the crap he's had to endure, let him enjoy "Titanic" and whatever other love stories he might want to watch. He's seem enough war and killing.

One part of the article just goes to how idealistic leaders often extoll a pure life for everyone else while they themselves live in luxury. Omar is no different from the high-living communist officials in the former Soviet Union, China, etc. Socialist brotherhood (or austere Muslim lifestyle) is fine for the peasants but not good enough for the elite.
