His feeble attempts to rein in the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists have been a pathetic joke. It's becoming increasingly clear that the principal obstacle to peace is the simple fact that the Palestinian leadership isn't at all serious about it.
I don't know, perhaps unilateral separation is the only answer now. Israel should pull out of Gaza and most of the West Bank settlements, build walls and fences to seal themselves off - permanently - from the Palestinians, and say "have a nice life".
