It's a somber precession whenever they find a body in the rubble. The body is put on a strecher, covered with a flag, and carried with great respect between two ranks of recovery workers. It's loaded into an ambulance and given a police motorcycle escort to the coroner's office.
Those recovery workers were on the job on Thanksgiving and again on New Years Day. I don't know about Christmas but it wouldn't surprise me if they were on the job. Some of them have commented in interviews that they're working to find every body possible in the debris to help the victims' families to find closure. Bless them all.
