Back from a two week vacation in L.A. and surprise surprise look what I see on the current events board... More ranting from Tom that has little basis in reality. Just to cut through the crap and set the record straight:

The Democrats, born and bred to the ear-biting, eye-gouging, back-stabbing, ball-crushing, talk-talk fight-fight, Gom Jabbar style of political warfare, are raring to go.

This coming from a guy who supports the likes of Ken Starr, Tom Delay, Bob Barr, etc etc etc who we all know stooped lower than any politicians in the history of our republic against their political opponents.

You won't hear about the attack on the U.S. having maybe something to do with a few budget problems

Huh? I hear about the attack effecting our economy every night on the news. What planet are you on Tom? Don't they have CNN on Mars?

Are you aware that most of the real tax cuts haven't even occurred yet? That they were backloaded into the future? That the actual fiscal impact of the tax cuts/rebates in the year 2000 was almost lost in the noise? You sure aren't going to hear that from the media.

Are you aware that budget projections for the future now take into account those future tax cuts and that might have something to do with the deficit returning?

Are you aware that the current economic downturn started during the Clinton Administration?

There was a SLOWDOWN in the economy during the last administration but the actual recession didn't begin, according to economists, until the second quarter of last year.
