I know you disagree with this, but I think that if Rabin had not been assasinated, there would have been a peace agreement and so many lives would not have been and will be wasted. With a peace agreement, the chances of the extremists getting enough support to operate would have been nill...
As it sits, they're out there, and if not them, then others, for generations to come... And make no mistake, as Israel's major and sole international supporter, the US and all of us will continue as targets...
