Yes, war is not pretty.
From musket balls and swords to nuclear bombs, biological and chemical weapons....the better to do you in with. Taliban bodies flying through the air after an airstrike??
Wow! Guess we showed them suckers!
How about a Kentucky Fried Iraqi?
This photo was one of the defining pictures of the Gulf "war" from February 1991......it's a living photographic example of the horrors of war. It's a civilian trying to get out of the cab of his truck during an American air raid on a 10 mile caravan of Iraqis fleeing Kuwait.
We used fuel air explosives and cluster bombs on them.
We also apparently completely destroyed another 60 mile long caravan.
(I wonder if Hussein did this well.....)
Anyway, the photo is a reminder that "war is not pretty".
Nor are the after effects.
For all of you who sit so smugly judging others and wishing revenge on them...perhaps you should carefully look at the DEFORMITIES that are on the increase in that area since the "war".
They are being born to Iraqi mothers and US servicemen and are believed to be the result of DU (depleted Uranium) in the area.
I'd put down that sandwich and Coke if I were you.
Click on EXTREME DEFORMITIES about 3/4 of the way down the page, and tell me that you are proud to be a part of this:

MODERN WAR?
