Mot so, Ed.

Extremists of any stripe exercise and keep freedom strong. We must remain on our toes at all times, and the idiots of the world keep us fit.

But Maryland Attorney General J. Joseph Curran Jr. argues that a 1996 decision by the Maryland Court of Appeals allows state police to disqualify a person from possessing firearms based on the sentence he could have received.

By this very statement, Mr. Arnold should be entitled to carry a gun. The sentence he could have received is not the sentence he received, ergo the clipped-on extended sentence does not apply.

Anytime you think something can’t be dumber -- let a politician have a go at it.

But the troopers took all three handguns in the home, including one belonging to Mr. Dicken's wife, Kathy.

Kinda makes you wonder what Mrs. Dicken was convicted of.

Probably marriage.

Mr. Kelly is sponsoring a bill to prohibit federal firearms disqualifications from being applied in Maryland.

That’s called Freedom-Exercise In Action.

Cheers,
Dan
