Let's do the time warp again!
The Democrats are trying to sell the story that the recession started in March, 2001, as noted in the "survey" I posted from the Democratic National Committee web site.
Unfortunately, this kind of flatout bald-faced lie is not unusual when trying to score political points. Since most of the media have the collective IQ of a side of beef, and typically make their living rewriting and printing political press releases instead of actually investigating anything, no doubt this March 2001 date will become "common knowledge."
