Hello Mary Anne!
Let's hope mr Jacques Rogge does a good job, as new president of the IOC!
What I was wondering, when Salt Lake City was chosen, was: but aren't the mountains very distant from the city? Salt Lake City is flat and wintersports mean ski slopes, thus mountains!
BTW, great that John Glenn was one of the Olympic flag carriers!
