Sad to say, this judge has done this before. His egregious "get over it" comment just made the news this time as he put the guy on probation. Marjory Eagan is a good writer and understandably became quite outraged at this travesty. The young girl must now go around town fearful that this big bully might assault her. He lives nearby.
In MA, judges are appointed not elected and there is no PRACTICAL means of recall. Previous gov Paul Celluchi (R) appointed the judge.
