Outdated laws require, at the very least, serious review, and, at the most, serious editing, or complete deletion.

When the bulls are against you and the only way out is through the bulls themselves, you take it -- and heaven help whatever/whoever happens gets in your way. Right now, the U.S. is in survival mode. The fact the many argue this point is proof enough that we’re surviving fine -- for the moment. Slowing our progress at this point, however, would reopen Afghanistan to a new Taliban rule, and allow al Qui'da time to regroup and attack. Remember how they do that? They take your neighbor hostage, then they run over your children with your neighbor's car.

Annihilation and/or the permanent incarceration (preferably with a death sentence) of al Qui'da is the only cure for the planet. The end will never justify the means, Mary Anne, but the means will certainly justify the end, and that end must include the end of al Qui'da. If it does not, it will include the end of freedom, the end of the U.S., and the end of peace.

Some might disagree.
