I still think that more than doubling the population in 20 years is a rate of inflation higher than monetary inflation. It takes two to make a baby but only one to force the issue. Long- term intimidation and cultural repression can exert just as much long-term force as rape can on an individual, one-time basis.

The education and emancipation of women is key in the fight against poverty, superstition, ignorance and fear, the animating sentiments of terrorism.
