Terrorist masterminds or Three Stooges?
If this is typical of the skills of those who are attacking us, we may be better off than we thought.
I have always suspected that the WTC attack was as much a matter of sheer luck for the terrorists as good planning, involving large loopholes in our airline screening systems and policies for dealing with conventional hijackers.
Of course, none of this means we can relax our vigilance. Even if most of Al Qaeda is comprised of idiots, it only takes one smart, or lucky terrorist to do a lot of damage.
