Serious Answer:

War is seldom fought for one reason.
1The capability of Iraq, combined with its refusal to honor its Gulf War UN commitment leaves Iraq as a loose cannon in the international community.

2Poised at the north end of the Persian Gulf, they are in a position to quickly invade and control major portions of the world oil production.
There refusal is also imbalancing the world oil market by the absence of Iraqi production.

3The WMD problem, in the hands of a proven aggressor (the Iran war lasted about 10 years, the invasion Kuwait)
and is proven the willingness to use WMDs against civilian populations (The Kurds) is unique in the world today.

4Long term, the Islamic world must shed itslef of tyrrannies, oligarchies and inbred royalty. there is a good chance that if Iraqis can be nurtured to take control of their lives and build a civill society, the rest of the world might be greatly benefitted.

5The United States' vital interest is not served by allowing tyrants like Saddam to fester.
