I have long term investing too such as mutual funds, half my wife's check goes toward it every month. What I was talking about is NASDAQ/Dow shares, I should have clarified. I have been able to finance my sons college tuition and board by buying low and selling high or near high and placing stop orders for protection from studding charts and doing homework on the companies.
