You can't win without developing the pieces. I would seriously doubt that we go it alone. I have read that we would need Turkey at a minimum. In the coming months we will probably establish Casus Belli. If not, we will likely wait.
Things change quickly. If we are able to establish a just peace in Palistine/Isreal, the board will look different. Without a Palistine solution, there will probably be agressive inspections at a minimum and we all know how Sadam will react to that.
He will eventually be hoist on his own petard.
