Mitt Romney must have done a really impressive job rescuing the Olympics from scandal and overseeing the successful Games...Jane not-so-Swift, the current governor of Massachusetts, didn't even wait for Romney to declare his candidacy today before bowing out in disgrace and defeat. What a wimp.

So will a Mormon Republican be elected governor of the most liberal state in the country? It could very well happen. Massachuttens like Romney a lot, and with the knowledge that Democrats will dominate the state legislature (as always) the voters like to split their ticket so the two sides can keep an eye on each other, some checks and balances I guess. Romney has an excellent chance of being elected.
