The counting of tree rings has determined that Earth experienced a global warming a 1,000 years ago. I don't have a link, this from memory. The point is there were no automobiles, factories and mad men setting oil rigs on fire. No doubt the current population trend hasn't helped and this time the warming could get worse do to our lack of scientific knowledge and willingness not to pollute the air or it might get hotter just because. We just don't know. There is so much verbal crap in the air, who do you believe or trust?
