Bush Jr has made the mistake of criticizing Israel
and of course some of Israel's "supporters" are going to try to nail him...
Sometimes Bush Jr is right, and sometimes he's wrong: we have to pay for this war, but we also need oil.
But the bottom line is that there is going to be one and only one issue in the near term, and that is dealing with the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and its consequences. Neither a Democratic nor a Republican agenda is going to go anywhere until that mess is resolved.
