<Leftist media crying buckets
I have never seen such one sided reporting in my life. Not one interview with someone pro Le Pen - not one! Only a bunch of quotes from commies, socialists and the usual gang of Frenchmen...*
Obviously 20% of the voters thought something good about Le Pen and wanted him more than anyone else running! Why not hear their grievances? Why just report on the infinitely smaller number of leftist vandals rioting in the streets?
Do they think they're fooling anyone? Do they think if they pretend those 20% of French voters don't exist - they will go away?
Europe is like Los Angeles - a nice place to visit in parts - but I wouldn't want to live there. It's going downhill fast and the collapse of leftist posturing and laziness under the immigration problem is literally devastating leftist candidates all across Europe.
From the media you would think this man is the devil himself. And yet they give you so few facts about him that you can't decipher anything other than that he is hated and despised by communists and socialists (a pretty good reason to like him already.)
Chirac hasn't been the US' friend - and since 1969 the French and the socialists have been so cold to the US, and such untrustworthy allies who have stolen secrets for the Russians etc... that we have well over a dozen thermonuclear weapons programmed to be pointed at Paris and other key French cities, with the flip of a switch, at this very moment.
Their political structure is the result of massive bolshevik and then communist influx during the twentieth century. The old relations with Russia since the days of the Tsars, as part of the trilateral alliance to contain Germany (England, France, Russia) evolved into good relations with the bolsheviks and the communists who often like the Tsarist aristocracy and capitalists - spoke French more often than Russian.
Yet Commies will sell you out - as Stalin did France. The US saved France twice - but the infiltration and seepage of bistro-sitting communists discussing their utopian collectives had done it's damage. Soon France and much of post-war europe was lost in a sea of socialism - communism's weaker sister.
Perhaps this is a wake up call for France - not just for the socialists, commies and radicals to try and unite against some political foe - but its long, long overdue to figure out some real world answers to some tough questions French people want solved...and for once in their lives wonder why - if WWIII occurs - US nukes will be landing four minutes and 12 seconds earlier in Paris than Moscow.
While I don't know enough about Le Pen to make definitive statements - or even give blanket support of him - I do know that he obviously is at least addressing the folks who are being ignored by the socialist elitists, and that the media, if it keeps up with articles like this one, is going to insure a Le Pen victory. No one likes to be ignored - especially Frenchmen (The ol' psychological "mirror-principle" at work again;-)
I think I DO want Le Pen to win. I really don't see how he can be any worse than Chirac. I for one give little merit to the phrase "Nazi" and "racist" - which are bandied about almost anyone on the right who dare to point out the blatantly obvious immigration problem. A tarring campaign which has previously been so successful - at least it was until the problem got so bad - like a festering wound - you can't ignore it anymore.
I'd say that 20% of the French have woken up to reality and popped their heads out of the PC sands which can't mention race - except to implement some affirmative action type program.
If he wins and builds concentration camps - I'll change my mind - but somehow I seriously doubt that's going to happen.
However, the media have done their best to tell me nothing other than he is "despised" and has made "race an issue for thirty years" - hmmm... about the same time France folded up shop in North Africa.
I am enjoying the media and the far left scrambling..they KNOW there days are NUMBERED.

(*Note Belgians are VASTLY different than Frenchmen - as they are a melting pot of all Europe. ;-)
