Europe's Dirty Secret...

<Dirty Secret

Perhaps this is the reason Le Pen was voted for by so many white, poor, Frenchmen.

Britain wisely stayed out of the EU - but now Germany and, to a lesser degree, France are carrying the Euro and bearing the burden of the countries who can't ever seem to get their act together.

The media portrays it as a protest vote - yet I have not heard one interview with someone who says they voted for Le Pen in protest - only the media is saying that, hoping to convince the rest of the socialists and far leftists that it's true.

In 92 Perot garnered some protest votes - but by and large the majority voted for the man they felt had a political philosophy more aligned with their own.

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here and take Le Pen's positions and disect them.

If we look at Le Pen's statements:

He says "we will be submerged" in regards to the immigration policies.

If the US imported 500,000,000 Chinese - who bring their religions, customs and politics with them - the United States would remain the United States in name only for a short while before it would become a facsimile of China, indeed the new residents would soon vote for Chinese leaders who would implement and govern with their own brand of politics and beliefs. The US would be "Finished" - to quote a favorite word of the British media.

If I believe that China is less evolved in its political philosophy and that 75% of those 500,000,000 will be uneducated and illiterate - is this racist?

Is it racist to protest the immigration of 500,000,000 Chinese to America?

I think that the word "submerged" indeed becomes applicable when regarding runaway immigration.

That line is not racist at all - it is simple common sense.

Naturally, if you are Chinese - then you will take offense at my protest - and secretly hope that some leftists will permit it and shout down those who protest as racist.

Immigration is a noble concept - yet taken to extremes - a superior culture becomes debased and corrupted.

Yes, there are such things as 'superior' cultures - the US is superior to Iran and Iraq, Somalia, Libya and almost every other nation in the world.

If you add cold water to warm water - you get lukewarm water.

If you add too much cold water - the water all becomes cold.

Intelligent political thought is not permissive to the point of allowing the ignorant to ruin a culture in the name of "equality" - a false political concept.

Taken to extremes - immigration means the subjugation, by the culture and education level, of the nations the fleeing hail from.

My guess is that 20% of the French people realize this.

I personally have observed the increase in crime by immigrants to Germany. It is not racist to say that if you import foreign criminals into your country - crime will increase. If you believe this is racist - then you are either a democratic US politician seeking the criminal immigrant vote - or are almost inexusably ignorant.

So to say that most of the immigrants to France and Germany, which come from nearly lawless nations, are not increasing crime rates - is not borne out by the police reports which paint a very different story.

Thus the statement that immigrants are a major cause for the increase in crime in France and Germany can be proven as fact. Such a statement is not racist - but isfact.

So already we have proven that two of Le Pen's statements were not racist at all - but were hyped up to appear racist in an effort to mobilize the immigrants to rise up and become violent.

Yes the only crimes in France since the vote have now been commited by the President Chirac - who is as crooked as he is long - and by the protesters who break into shops and act like Nazi hooligans of the 30's.

The other statement "The death camps are a detail of WWII" is someone's opinion. Clearly it was a very important "detail". The odds are very likely Le Pen with this statement was trying to minimize the holocaust - which makes him a suspect anti-semite.

Yet even this statement could easily be misrepresented and used to condemn him - much as I could take a line from this post out of context to condemn me.

"...immigration means the subjugation, by the culture and education level, of the nations the fleeing hail from."

By omitting my preface "Taken to extremes" the line becomes a scathing condemnation of my view of immigration.

You see how easily one can twist someone to appear like an intolerant and, evil hate-mongerer.

Le Pen may indeed be racist. However I think his alleged racism is overblown so as to discredit what he is saying - an age old tactic of the left.

You don't support reparations? You are a racist!

You don't support a welfare state? You are a cruel, heartless extremist!

"You suggest immigration be curtailed or immigrants deported? You are a racist, fascist pig!"

It is so much easier to be a do-nothing politician who takes kick-backs and doesn't propose solutions to anything.

Solving problems means you cause waves. The criminal does not want to be put in jail, yet putting a criminal in jail is at this time, society's best solution.

Immigrants naturally will fear a Le Pen victory. So will the left who pander to everyone, so long as there is a buck in it for them, at the expense of others.

The left here try to compare the Bush administration to Nazis. Yet it is only because he is solving problems and making waves.

Le Pen may not be a nice guy...he may indeed be a racist. But many of his statements, when closely examined by someone who is not spoonfed opinion, are found to be based in truth - an uncomfortable truth to be certain. And a truth which many would prefer to deny for the sake of political expedience.

If Le Pen is not the best man for France - neither is the stagnant cesspool of the present leadership.

The sticker on the protesting girl to take a "swindler over hate" - is such a naieve and simplistic view.

Is personal prejudice, a greater evil than ripping off people? Isn't the act of ripping off people showing you care little or nothing for them - perhaps holding ALL of them in lesser regard than the prejudiced individual? Isn't ripping someone off an expression of hatred?

I find myself uncomfortable playing the devil's advocate - but I am even MORE uncomfortable with the lefts attempt to portray the Le Pen victory as simply a fascist or racist victory...and ignoring the obviously very real concerns of the millions of french people who voted for him...who may be desperately trying to find someone who will try to solve their problems instead of just being another massively corrupt politician.
