This was front page at ABC this afternoon, but did not make the nightly news on ABC, CBS or NBC. ABCgo later pulled the story as well, burying it in their backlinks.

Now back when I was working through Hitler's plans for his rockets, the stack attendant at the Library of Congress pulled the wrong item for me. Instead of delivering what I requested he gave me bound copies of an English translation of the Nazi's "Signal" magazine. As I had nothing else to do while I waited for the proper materials to be delivered, I read through it.

Ah, yes, the vacations in sunny Greece, and skiing in the Alps! The fantastic victories of the German Army! All the good things that one could (still) buy!
I suppose that Signal's female readers were right surprised when the Soviet shock troops showed up on their doorstep, shot their men and young men, and raped them and their daughters, before destroying and torching everything they could not loot or consume on the spot.

(One needs to remember here that the Nazis had killed nearly 20 million of these troops' relatives, and that their own life expectancy was not all that long...)

We haven't seen a race war such as the one that took place between the Germans and the Slavs for quite a while now, ignoring for the nounce that minor unpleasantness in Burundi and those few even smaller tribal clashes in Africa. Of course, that was black folk, so that kind of behaviour is to be expected, and none of those people had any technology more advanced than the automatic rifles, RPGs, grtenades and mines which they bought from developed countries, certainly nothing as advanced...
