There's an essential point left out.

I keep forgetting that if you leave out the fact that the Israelis are continually building settlements on land the UN and Israelis have given to the Palestinians they do look crazy.
The Palestinians are reacting to the ongoing Israeli annexing Palestinian lands, among other indignities.
Sort of like professional football or basketball. The guy who hits back is usually the one getting the penalty.
And, they just generally hate each other. With cause on both sides. But to expect “peace” while the Israelis are continuing to build on Palestinian territory really isn’t right.
