Guns and crime
While a case can be made for the increase in general crime in England and Europe being linked at least in part to large-scale immigration, from the article I posted it seems to me that criminal access to guns via the newly opened Iron Curtain seems to be the major factor.
The error everyone makes is the assumption that restrictive new gun laws, which by definition work only on people who obey the law, will somehow make this situation better. In fact, what should be encouraged is more arms in the hands of honest citizens and law enforcement.
