Let's see, republicans are FOR drilling in the Arctic, something that will do very little to solve America's energy problems, and they are AGAINST automobile fuel efficiency standards, something that could do a great deal to reduce dependence on foreign oil and help the environment at the same time. The only logical conclusion is they are doing exactly what the big oil companies want them to do. There is no other serious conclusion. Sure there are a few Dems in the pocket of Big Oil too, but the entire republican party does its bidding even though it's in conflict with America's economic security.

Disgusting.
