Back in 1916, Mexican bandits were crossing the border into the US, sometimes killing our citizens. The US Army invaded Mexico. Don't think for a moment we'd do it any different today. Imagine for a moment that some border area like San Diego was being repeatedly attacked by terrorists from across the border. Who in their right mind would believe that we wouldn't respond in force?
