Jewish communities existed among a larger Arab, and non-Arab, population in the present day West Bank and Gaza for centuries. It's an indisputable historical fact. The Jewish commuity in Hebron was massacred by the Arabs in 1929, and the survivors fled to preent day Israel, for example. It's completely unnatural that any territory, Israeli or other, should be 100% Jewish or 100% Arab. Yet the Palestinians insist on ethnic cleansing, and 0 Jews in their own ancestrial homeland.
And as for treaties, are you serious? Is there anyone in the Middle East who has respected treaties? The Palestinians have violated the Oslo agreements at least 10 different ways!
Did you think you might feel a little differently about taking a piece of your neighbor's backyard if
1) your neighbor was crazed barbarian who's been trying to kill you for 50 years and
2) your grandfather used to own a small piece of that backyard?
