Yep....

my understanding was\is the same too.... never understood that though.........just why would the US send a biological weapon it had developed abroad to other countries and out of it's own control?......... It didn't make sense to me when I heard it.

The news here though was that it had proven to be, and had been accepted, that it was a US weaponised strain, that it had been posted from within the US.. and was aimed, at a bizarre collection of US "targets".

In short.. the Anthrax bomber was\is a US citizen who had access to a military biological waepon developed in the 60's/70's........ I would have thought that would have been a small, and well documented, group of people.
