"Boy, I wonder what made Bowser get that really stupid idea?"
Wasn't exactly an idea, there would be just a flock of helicopters flying overhead and I'd wonder how it would be done. Couldn't help it.
Sort of like watching a NASCAR race, and wondering what it would be like to drive one, or what I'd do in a crash.
I've been to trainings on spotting lies and deceptions in the context of VIP security. After a while you do start to wonder how you might go about something, where the weak points are, how best to watch, and so on. It's something some minds do. And some minds don't, I guess.
(I've seen the film on the Hinckley shooting of Reagan over and over and over, from a couple of different points of view. Hinckley stood out like a sore thumb. Seconds before the shooting everyone else in the crowd was smiling and looking up to their left. Hinckley was not smiling, looking a bit to his right, completely focussed on Reagan the entire way. There's some speculation this was a minor stop for Reagan, and the Secret Service might have had their "B" or "C" team in.)
Heck, same sort of thing as hearing about an airplane hijacking and wondering what I'd do. Probably the same thing everyone else does. Don't know.
And I hope the Secret Service, the Navy at Point Mugu, a whole lot of people were wondering.
Apparently some of the imaginations around here don't stretch that far.
