Hello all,
Although the "Hayman" fire near Denver is 47% contained, today is by far the worst as far as smoke goes for the "downtown" Denver region.
The state capital is literally engulfed in smoke. Buildings in Denver (mine included) smell like a campfire - this is inside the building. Apparently air conditioning and ventilation systems were not made to handle this degree of smoke/airborne particulates.
The "Hayman" fire is one of 8 major forest fires buring in CO - the "Missionary Ridge" fire (near Durango) is now the nations #1 priority.
It doesn't help that all C-130 aircraft have been grounded due to a crash - there is spectacular footage of it going down (both wings caught fire and the fuselage slammed into the ground). ;-(
Thanks to all that are working on these fires.
See ya, VINCE
