Good question:
From my perspective, Left Behind is derivative, based on extremist interpretations of the Bible, it is crass commercialization, since they are making an extraordianry amount of money off of it, and it is exploitive, wince they are manipulating the base instincts of their legions of fans.
That is a fair definition of "pornography", to me.
