The radicalization of Islam and the Moslem nations

Hello p -

I think you are mistaking the symptoms for the desease. The way it appeared to me was such.

First, the one thing most moslems in nearly every nation wanted to do was either a) drive the Israelis back to wherever they cam from or b) at least establish a Palestinian state.

While their people wanted thewm to attack Israel, the leaders of these various nations knew that Israel had nuclear and to attack was suicidal.

Those frustrated by their leaders lack of action would then gravitate toward either and alternatively socialist or reactionary leaders, who would then take power.

In turn, these new leaders would come to the same realization that attack was suicidal, and the process would begin again in the other direction - left to right, right to left.

In some places and at different times in this process Islam got pretty warped.

Generally, most Moslems can now accept Israel, providing the Palestinians also have their nation. My hope is that the two peoples will be able to come to an agreement among themselves, but if they can't an agreement will have to be imposed by the UN.
