The anti-Euro activists need to get a life
I just spent 5 days in Ireland, used the new Euro notes and coins to buy things, and I spoke to quite a few Irish I met about the switch to the new currency. Bottom line - no big deal at all. They're still Irish, they still have their culture and their national pride, and they're still doing just fine. It's just a lot easier to buy and sell things in other countries around Europe that's all!
I saw no Nazis at all in Dublin, not even around the pubs during any of the World Cup soccer matches!
