There has to be a legitimate target which is also damaged for it to be "collateral".

There is an estimate that twice as many innocent Afghans have died in the American "war on terror" as died in the WTC. There is such a thing as collateral damage, there is such a thing as honest mistakes. Not over and over and over.

Where's the sense? Why have "smart" bombs if they can't be dropped on a legitimate target? Could just as easily drop dumb ones anywhere.

The US has no better ally than the Brits. And the Brits have warned the US and the world that the US targets indiscriminately. It has seemed that way for a long time, but they were there, and they saw.

This military, this administration, doesn't listen. In a "you're either for us or against us" world, even being "for" us doesn't doesn't seem to guarantee consideration.

And, victims of a tragedy such as this includes the troops who were sent into action, again, on faulty intelligence. No one, not a soul in the world, wants to do something like this.
