Unfortunately, my Canadian federal government is rather squeamish when it comes to Canadian troops involved in fighting and killing in a
combat zone, like Afghanistan.
My Canadian government has a mindset
that is antimilitary, prosocialist, and is steeped in pc doctrines taught in universities.
So no wonder it refuses to devulge the story of how Canadian army snipers from the PPCLI regiment, armed with
7.62 mm and 50.cal sniping rifles,
have saved numerous American lives
in Afghanistan, and the Canadian feds are
totally repulsed by the idea of devulging the fact that Canadian army snipers
have "picked off" considerably more than 20 Al Qaeda combatants in Afghanistan,
especially during OPERATION ANACONDA.

These numbers are not from the CAF
headquarters or from my feds, but are quoted in the latest issue of SOF magazine, published in Boulder, Colorado.
