Didn't you say you live in Phoenix...
or some other equally hot place? If so, you need tires built to withstand very high temperatures. Tires come with temperature ratings (A, B, C) and you need tires that can hold up under extreme heat, probably A rated. Lessor tires could well come apart under desert conditions.
