That's why the news-hounds are snuffling through Afghanistan. Their very survival depends upon the existence of an atrocity, or scandal -- somewhere, anywhere -- and the more victims they themselves can take down, regardless of culpability, the better. They will continue to plant the seeds of discontent, until there is nothing left in society.
