Found this neat site, about three or four links deep following a link I think you posted:

Stephen's Guide to Logical Fallacies

I wish we could apply these principles here. It would be excellent practice for the world at large. A lot of the discussion can be very good, but when things get overblown and mean I find it less stimulating and more discouraging.

I had a nap today. That seems to help. ;)
