Missed the point again
The point was that in an equivalent situation, with equivalent warlike pronouncements by the President, Democrats in Congress and the Senate--pretty much the same ones who are there right now*--were wildly supportive, simply because the President was a Democrat. Politics is the motivation for almost every position they take.
*Including the Not Legitimately Elected Majority Leader Daschle. Had a Democrat pulled that switcheroo and turned control of the Senate over from Democrats to Republicans, people like you would still be screaming about it from the rooftops.
