Al Queda network scattered, severely disrupted
But there's no doubt thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of young fanatical Muslims in many countires ready to answer the call of jihad and go commit acts of anti-Western terrorism. Even with an Al Queda which is weakened organizationally, I'd expect at least a few of these individuals to be inspire to act on their own. Fortunately, these kind of "lone wolf" or small cell operations have limited resources and usually amount to just shooting a gun or tossing a bomb, just like the terrorist who attacks the El Al counter at LAX on July 4. Hopefully not suicide bombers.
