Who wanted to "abolish the CIA"?

Regards limitations on the CIA and FBI. Every police and intelligence agency needs more oversight than just the president. The FBI was out of control, or don't you think so? The CIA is, well, it needs more secrecy because what we know about it is that it is NO GOOD.

And my post was about GHWB afraid their morale would be destroyed.

As if WTC not being there shouldn't destroy their morale.

Why are not conservatives ever accountable. Why isn't Rice responsible for National Security advice, why isn't the FBI responsible for following up on domestic threats and the CIA overseas?

Why, in a Republican administration, isn't in important they do their jobs. Watching the Little Monkey today, 9-11 almost resembled Horst Wessel. He's making a travesty out of failing to do his job, a political life out of the tragedy of his staff's failings.

And the budget shows where their heads and hearts were - not on national security. You can deny that with words, not facts. Show me the money, and I'll show you the priorities.
