Like, a Democratic National Security Advisor who missed the warnings, who "didn't think they warranted further investigation, would be, appropriately pilloried. A Republican National Security Advisor who is not interested in Security is not responsible, or accountable.

Fire 'em. Use a squad. Innocent people died because of what has been clearly demonstrated as their incompetence. Cutting the counter-terrorism budget indeed! Even though they are conservatives and one doesn't rightfully expect much.
