It's too bad you don't understand Security Council Resolution 242

(I must say right up front that any attempt to draw comparaisons between Iraq and Israel are so ludicrous that only a complete idiot would bring them up, so it's not a very big surprise...)

Since it appears you haven't read 242, here is the relevent section:

"Emphasizing further that all Member States in their acceptance of the Charter of the United Nations have undertaken a commitment to act in accordance with Article 2 of the Charter,

Affirms that the fulfillment of Charter principles requires the establishment of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East which should include the application of both the following principles:

Withdrawal of Israeli armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict;

Termination of all claims or states of belligerency and respect for and acknowledgement of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of every State in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force;

Affirms further the necessity

For guaranteeing freedom of navigation through international waterways in the area;

For achieving a just settlement of the refugee problem;

For guaranteeing the territorial inviolability and political independence of every State in the area, through measures including the establishment of demilitarized zones..."

Did your feeble mind manage to catch and understand the part about:

"requires the establishment of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East which should include..."??

Despite being the victim of massive and continual Arab agression from (pre) 1948 forward, and despite the undeniable fact that the territory occupied in 1967 came directly from a Arab war of extermination unjustly launched against Israel, Israel in act offered the "just and lasting peace" in 2000, including a withdrawal from the disputed territories, and of course we all know what happened, Arafat and the Palestinians choose instead to go on killing and killing...

Actually, the most ridiculous point about claiming that Israel is in violation of UN resolutions is the obvious avoidance of the fact that so are the Palestinians, in violation of resolutions and other international accords condemning the never ending, senseless terrorist acts against civilians.
