Dogma question: "If the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" ....
then is the opposite true? In other words, if the rich get poorer, do the poor get richer?
According to the linked article, Bill Gates' net worth has declined over $40 billion in the past 3 years. Does that make anyone richer? The combined net worth of the Fortune 400 has declined by $283 billion in the past year. Did that make anyone richer?
It seems that this piece of dogma, as is often the case, doesn't hold up very well to close examination.
